Satellites in Space and Dangerous Debris (Infographic)

India’s space agency recently announced the successful launch of more than 100 nano satellites into orbit aboard a single rocket. They included an Indian Earth observation satellite and two small technology demonstration satellites.

The other satellites were international customer satellites, including 96 from the United States and one each from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Israel, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates. Let’s look at the data with this Infogram infographic:
