Infogram Ambassadors is a global network of passionate data storytellers in newsrooms, communication offices, universities and classrooms. The members share a common belief in the power of data visualisation, freedom of information, importance of data literacy and effective communication.
The network is designed to bring the power of data visualisation and data literacy to the local communities and influencers all over the globe while also promoting knowledge sharing between the program members.
Who can be an Ambassador?
If one or more of the following statements apply, you should consider applying for the Ambassador Program:
- You are a data journalist or a journalist frequently working with data
- You are an activist using data to advocate
- You are a communication officer using data for content marketing or customer engagement
- You are a college or university student presenting data as a part of your assignments
- You are a classroom teacher who sees the power of data visualisation in education
- You are a trainer bringing the power of data visualisation to journalists, activists, communication officers, students, teachers and others
What do we expect?
The program is designed to encourage and support you in spreading the word about the power of data visualisation with Infogram, while offering you the opportunity to gain exposure with the largest data visualisation community worldwide and enjoy other benefits. We expect you to:
- Promote the power of automated data visualisation
- Share effective data storytelling practices and case studies
- Share the benefits and use cases of Infogram
- Agree to be listed as an Ambassador on our website and provide us with a photograph, description of yourself and your Twitter username, if applicable
- Agree to be featured in our blog and/or social media campaigns in order to promote Infogram’s social mission and the values we stand for

How do you get started?
After you have submitted the Ambassador Program application on our website you will receive an email response within two weeks. Please note that only one ambassador per organisation (or large department) is accepted.
If your application is eligible, you will be invited for a short Skype interview. The purpose of the meeting is to get to know each other better and agree on a plan of activities for the following month or two.
After the activities take place we will review your membership based on an informal activity report. The main evaluation criteria is your attitude.
If we mutually agree that there’s a good fit, your official membership will be announced and promoted in our social media channels.
